The novel The WindWalkers (in French "La Horde du Contrevent") from Alain Damasio is the story of the 34th team of people walking against the wind to go past the end of the known world. A group is sent every generation from a starting point and they walk over decades as far as they can go. The team leader is called Golgoth and is the 9th descendant of his family leading a team. He is obsessed with the idea of getting farther than his father (Golgoth 8) and the others Golgoth before them. At one point, while the team thought having been farther than any other, Golgoth 9 finds a sign let by Golgoth 6 (whose team had been thought lost) that demonstrates they were not the first ones reaching this point.
Explanation
It looks like Randall has been playing with his Apple device after installing the recently released iOS 8 update. The comic is referencing the autocomplete function on the iOS virtual keyboard (aka leopard). A comparable feature is also available on other operating systems, like Android. When the phrase, for example, "Revenge is a dish best served" is typed, the keyboard will suggest “by” followed by “a” then “group” and so on.
:Sherlock_Holmes#.22Elementary.2C_my_dear_Watson.22: Holmes: "Elementary, my dear Watson." (paraphrased in several movies, never actually used in the books)
You have my sword." Legolas: "And you have my bow." Gimli: "And *my* axe."

An older comic 1068: Swiftkey is also about keyboard predictions, but without any preceding text (by the Swiftkey keyboard application instead of the iOS 8 keyboard).

HANNELOREEC is a character in the web comic Questionable Content . Hannelore suffers from OCD and other issues including another anxiety disorder, and even the idea of kissing grosses her out. Her comment in this comic is a typical display of her OCD. ‎64.242.52.33

I do not wish to start an edit war, so I shall give my reasoning here for putting this under "furries."
According to xkcd, furries are people with a fetish for animals. Given that Untoward seems to have "gotten intimate" with a pig (hence why he got a venereal disease), I decided that Untoward has an animal fetish, thus concluded that Untoward was a furry.
* Besides that, such an act does not make one a furry. Instead, it makes one a moron. Furries are in fact simply those who have an interest in anthropomorphic animals. 108.8.100.183 09:08, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

I think the title text explanation misses a key point, some flu strains (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1918_flu_pandemic) disproportionately impact fit healthy young people due to an overreaction of the immune system. The title text humorously suggests that counter-intuitively being drunk and sleep-deprived will actually be good for your health in such circumstances. ==Explanation==
incomplete

This is a pun on the phrase “new headcanon”. A “headcanon” is a fan's thought imposed on a fictional world, often seen in fanfiction. Something that is 'canon' exists in the author's actual world; for example, a romantic pairing that is in the text or script of the fiction. A headcanon, then, is a fan thinking "these two characters, who are NOT together in the text, should totally be together." These ideas are notoriously contagious("It's really easy to get other people to believe in them."), and sometimes return to the author, who may decide to canonize them.
Randall's pun, adds an N and turns the imposed idea into a miniature cannon (a projectile weapon) attached to the head (which would be very easy to get people to believe in for other reasons).

The title text refers to the challenge of getting others to believe in, or accept, another's headcanon. Randall is implying that shooting a cannon at someone is enough evidence to believe in the cannon's existence.
:Cueball: Yeah?

:[Black Hat lifts his hat, revealing his "headcannon": a tiny cannon on the top of his head. The headcannon fires and blows up Cueball's desk, the explosion throwing Cueball backwards.]
:Headcannon: BOOM
:Cueball: AUGH!
