==Explanation==&lt;br /&gt;
This comic presents [[Randall]]'s idea for a line of food products all with clear black font on a white background. The products with black block lettering and white background stand out from the other items in this comic. The irony is that even though the branding isn't terribly creative, the ''lack'' of complexity is what causes the products to stand out. These product packaging styles resemble {{w|no-frills}} products and {{w|generic brands}}. For example, in Canada, the &amp;quot;{{w|No Name (brand)|No Name}}&amp;quot; generic brand of low-cost products sold by {{w|Loblaw Companies Limited|Loblaws}} general features a plain yellow label with the description of the product in bold black text, and occasionally an image of the product. The brand name is minimalized as are other legally-required elements (e.g. the weight of the product). Another of Loblaws' generic brands, {{w|President's Choice}} (PC) currently has a plain white background with black bold text for the labels on most of its products (usually with an image of the product as well as the brand name), although more recently, text in accent colours has been introduced.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The style of packaging might be a reference to ''{{w|The Prisoner}}'' TV series from the '60s, a dystopia set in a village (actually, &amp;quot;the village&amp;quot;) locked out from the outside world. It might also be a reference to Portal’s bean cans.&lt;br /&gt;

In the title text, the lack of a listed URL relates to the lack of branding on the package. It is possible that omitting the URL the consumer's curiosity will be aroused, and they will spend time on the internet hunting for the actual site.&lt;br /&gt;

:: Having studied (and knowing the fundamentals about what profile is needed to create a device that performs quantum tunneling) I have never seen this graph as a representation of this, and frankly it makes no sense. If this diagram was an energy band the hole or electron would have no need to tunnel to go up or down the energy band as it is a gradual slope. Maybe Randall is implying that he has issues with keeping the big picture in mind while doing detail work and gets lost in the details of implementation and vice versa. &lt;br /&gt;
This means that for him the knob is more of an on/off or selection switch. Pulse Width Modulation would then allow him to use this on/off switch more like the knob in the picture shown. (... or whoevers voice Randall is speaking in as many people probably have issues with this, myself included.) &lt;br /&gt;
I wonder if he obsessed over how to implement this comic: &lt;br /&gt;
1. As an on/off switch? &lt;br /&gt;
2. As a knob with limited none-usefull settings with &amp;quot;ideal&amp;quot; labeled between the actual settings available? &lt;br /&gt;
3. Like this, for simplicity, keeping the big picture in mind and not obsessing over the details of how it may under some circumstances be viewed?&lt;br /&gt;

Let's say the focus variable goes from 0 to 10, the knob can only stay on integer values and the &amp;quot;sweet spot&amp;quot; is around 7,38.&lt;br /&gt;
He can make a cycle that rests on 7 62% of the time and at 8 38% of the time, and repeat this cycle with a high enough frequency so that his mind wouldn't know the difference from actually being at 7.38 focus level.&lt;br /&gt;

The final frame is a reference to {{w|semantic satiation}}; when you've said or thought about a word too much, it can stop sounding like a real word and instead start sounding like nonsense. As it continues Skynet appears to come to self-aware realizations that usually are the result of drug usage.&lt;br /&gt;

The title text is a reference to one of the Terminator's first lines upon arrival in the 20th century.
