Explanation
Created by a HUMAN UNDER OATH.
The Hippocratic Oath is an "oath" of ethics taken by medical professionals, which includes the phrase "do no harm". Technically, the exact phrase "first, do no harm" is not in the oath, but this meaning is implied.

The full Hippocratic Oath can be seen at Hippocratic Oath#Modern versions and relevance

Randall takes other words that sound similar to "hippocratic" and creates "oaths" for them.

# The word hyperbaric means "of or involving a gas at a pressure greater than normal", so thus a "hyperbaric oath" would indeed involve getting used to (acclimating) to a different pressure.
# Holographic refers "holographic" projections as seen in media like "Star Wars", in which the image typically shimmers. Not to be confused with actual holograms.
# Histrionics is "exaggerated dramatic behavior designed to attract attention."actual citation needed
# Hydroelectricity is producing energy using water power, typically using turbines.
# A hippodrome is an oblong arena that was historically used for racing chariots.
# Hypnagogia is "the state immediately before falling asleep". The phenomenon of jolting awake just as one is about to fall asleep is sometimes referred to as a hypnagogic jerk.
# A hypergolic propellant is a type of rocket propellant which doesn't need a spark to ignite, and spontaneously combusts when mixing the parts together. Normal rocket propellant, such as RP-1 and liquid oxygen, requires some sort of initial spark to start the reaction.
# (title text) Hermeneutics is the study of interpreting texts, thus the "Hermeneutic Oath" could have several interpretations as to its meaning.

Transcript
Isn't the joke that installing multiple versions of Python has resulted in a Byzantine set of $path declarations, pointing all over the place? The title-text/alt-text reference to nuclear waste does not seem like the central joke, but merely compares the difficulty of cleanup. ProphetZarquon (talk) 16:25, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

May a file system which uses HashIDs for version tracking allow files stored anywhere within that file system to be accessible by only referencing their hash, without the use of paths? Seems like "folders" are not as useful as relational tags would be. ProphetZarquon (talk) 16:25, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

My has this problem. System Integrity Protection won't let me update python libraries, so whenever I need to update a library I install it in a different place and have to switch to the new version. I can't actually uninstall anything because of SIP, so multiple versions of every library I have ever used will remain on my computer forever.162.158.75.16 18:56, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
