Explanation
The comic shows a chart between the # of members of the pagan religion Wicca and the # of times Mozilla's web browser Firefox has been downloaded, the implication being that Firefox is related to Wicca. The page lists Internet Explorer, a rival web browser, and the cross, representing Christianity, on the bottom, implying that it is an attempt at discouraging Firefox by both Internet Explorer and a Christian source. more

The title text is reminiscent of political commercials, which tell you who paid for them. The last sentence is a play on the term of Closed source software, which Internet Explorer is, as opposed to Firefox, which was open source in development.

-- This type of statistical ploy is used again in a few other comics e.g Link of cancer CAUSING cell phones: 925: Cell Phones

Explanation
In this comic, Cueball is seen attempting to connect his laptop to a Wi-Fi network. He manages to find a secure access point named "Lenhart Family" (which is pesumably Miss Lenhart's home Wi-Fi access point) and attempts to connect to it.

The laptop's Wi-Fi autoconfig utility, instead of requesting a password, first attempts using "common" passwords (known as a Dictionary attack). Failing this, it attempts to exploit a Wired Equivalent Privacy vulnerability, which suprises Cueball. This also fails, possibly because Miss Lenhart used Wi-Fi Protected Access instead of WEP. certified resume help

In the third panel, the autoconfig then connects to Cueball's Bluetooth phone and uses it to call a local school and finds that Miss Lenhart's children are attending.

In the fourth panel, the autoconfig notifies "local agents" to kidnap Miss Lenhart's children, then starts "negotiating" with her. Cueball, frightened by these actions, repeatedy presses Ctrl-C in an attempt to cancel the process, with little success.

The title text mentions Ubuntu, a Linux distribution that attempts to be as user friendly as possible. Sometimes this verges into creepy territory.
