		+	I think this is actually refering to the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Well-ordering_theorem well-ordering theorem] (every set can be well·ordered), which is sometimes also called the well-ordering principle. The tricky thing is that a concrete description of that order is usually not as obvious as for the natural numbers, which explains the reluctance on part of the djinn. Megan's real wish seems to get even with the djinn by asking for a wish that is essentially impossible to fulfil and thereby putting it in a trap similar to the fate of those granted a wish. Due to the closeness to the axiom of choice, there's also the possibility of getting an unlimited number of costumes via the Banach-Tarsky paradox.
