Nachos

Title text: Hey, gaming on wifi? You have only yourself to blame.

Explanation

In order to win at her online game, a woman has "subtly" persuades a man living with Megan to make nachos. When he does, the cooker uses microwaves to cook the nachos which then disrupts Megan's wifi signal. This then causes her character to freeze and the woman then uses this opportunity to kill Megan's online character.

Transcript

[A man is on the phone with a woman, who's on her computer in the other half of a split panel.]

Man: Hello? ... Oh, hey. Looking for Megan? She's gaming.

Woman: I know. You know what's delicious? Nachos.

[The woman clicks on her computer while talking.]

Woman: When you layer the cheese so it gets on every chip ... then smother them in sour cream and salsa ...

Man: Mm, that IS delicious. And I've got the ingredients, too!

Woman, on phone: You should make some!

Man: I will!

Woman, on phone: Hurry.

[The man is making nachos in the microwave.]

Microwave: -beep- -beep- -whirrrr-

Megan, at her computer: My wifi signal!

[The woman who called is at her computer.]

Computer: Boom! Headshot.

If your microwave is interfering with your wifi then it's time to get a new microwave because your old one has a gaping hole. The problem is the conspiracy theory may be the correct answer. In which case you need a firewall for the microwave or an old one, pre Pentium III at least.
