Explanation
In the comic, one Cueball angrily asks "Where's my fucking jacket?". Normally, one would attempt to provide information on where the jacket is.
+
Cueball clearly means to use fucking as an intensifier. However, the friend (likely intentionally in response to the unnecessary swearing) takes fucking to be an identifier of which jacket is being discussed, and gives a smart-aleck response. His counterpart gets confused by the sarcasm, and the topic is dismissed.

The second Cueball, however, has taken the adjective "fucking" to mean that he has a "fucking jacket", separate from his normal one. He thus answers that is next to the first man's normal one. The first man is confused, so the second one dismisses the subject. Kind of a waste of time, really.

We have this conversation at least once a day in my apartment
Title text: We have this conversation at least once a day in my apartment

Explanation[edit]

Cueball clearly means to use fucking as an intensifier. However, the friend (likely intentionally in response to the unnecessary swearing) takes fucking to be an identifier of which jacket is being discussed, and gives a smart-aleck response. His counterpart gets confused by the sarcasm, and the topic is dismissed.

The title text states that this often occurs in Cueball/Randall's apartment.

Transcript[edit]

Trivia[edit]
