No one has yet mentioned that ignoring color, the two images are also mirror images of each other.  On the left, the figure is looking slightly toward her own right shoulder; while on the right she is looking slightly to her own left.  Most likely not at all relevant to this discussion, but usually folks on this forum are very quick to point out even insignificant details (like I'm doing right now)  :)
