Let's have discussions about categories here or on talk pages, rather than "via edit war". Also, re-categorizing an entire page does not seem like a "minor edit", but maybe that's just me. - jerodast (talk) 05:23, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

Looking at the page history, I'm not sure that you have a dog in this "fight", but in any case. Each explanation page already has Category:Comics on them. Not only that, but this page is in fact, not a comic. This page is a disambiguation page, we don't have the disambiguation infrastructure because there is only this page that needs disambiguation. When we get to comic 2038, then we will need another disambiguation page. But that will be a grand total of 2 pages that need the disambiguation infrastructure. Which is why I haven't felt motivated to need to port those over, resolve all the broken redirects, clean up all the documentation pages, make sure that all the links point back to here instead of linking to wikipedia, along with the other various minutia needed to correctly demarcate our 1 disambiguation page.
The most work that I'm willing to put into it is to add to the page [[Category:Explanation disambiguation]] as that seems to be the only structure we need to keep our disambiguation straight. If you want to put in the effort of bringing in wikipedia's disambiguation template and work it out, I'm fine with that, but adding duplicate entries in the comics category for a page that only points to comics is wrong.
