If there is one thing that can help you to achieve what you want in your life, it is goal setting. Goal setting is very powerful because it keeps you focused in what you do in your life. If you don't have a goal today, you are just like a lost sheep, you do not know where you should head and you will end up following the crowd.

Many people think that when they start to make more money, they deserve to buy more things. They buy a bigger home and a fancier car. They eat out more often at finer restaurants. They wear expensive clothes and jewelry. They go on more exotic vacations. There is a problem with this idea, however. If your standard of living matches your current income, then you must keep on making the same amount of money, whether you want to or not. You are still living paycheck to paycheck. You will have no reserve cash for the emergencies that will probably show up at some time.

Once you have gone through the first 2 steps, your mind will automatically comes up with strategies how you can achieve your goals. Just like building a house, you will need a blueprint. And achieving success is the same; you need to have a set of strategies of how you can achieve it. Don't worry if your strategies are wrong, just follow through and you will correct them on the way.
