The fact that the digits 7108914 appear at position 13709690 of pi doesn't mean that it is the string that is represented in the comic. The 7108914 in the comic might be one of the 19 other times it appears in the first 200 million digits of pi. "helpimtrappedinauniversefactory" might represent a longer string of digits and each letter might represent a whole number of digits in pi.
