Calculations I used:
t1=s/v1 t2=s/v2
Substract:
t1-t2=dt=s/v1-s/v2=(s*v2-s*v1)/(v1*v2)=s*(v2-v1)/(v1*v2)=s*dv/(v1*v2)
Therefore
s=(dt*v1*v2)/dv
