:LOL, that's exactly what Cueball is talking about. Beer is a canonical example of {{w|acquired taste}}. I was stealing sips of beer from my dad at age 3-4, if he had an unattended open beer.  Liking of beer is primarily generics, and secondary acquired taste.  Now talk about {{w|Marmite}} and discuss acquired taste.
