I am OriginalName. Of the characters in xkcd, my favorite is Black Hat/Hat Guy While his true name is Hat Guy, it is often easier to call him Black Hat, because A) there are several characters who wear hats (Hat Guy/Black Hat, White Hat, and Beret Guy) and calling him Black Hat clears up the confusion, and B) he is already better known as Black Hat.
