==Explanation==
In the first panel, a man proposes to a woman. While he does this, a narrator (most likely the man's inner voice) explains how he fould lobe; there were no trumpeting angels, and he must overcome his fears to realize he loves the woman. In the second panel, they are married. In the third panel, after they are married, another woman comes in, and the angels trumpet. This was the symbol the man was looking for all along to recognize his love. Now he is already married to another woman while he knows who his true love is. The narrator then says "Well, shit." as the man realizes this and realizes the mistake he has made.

The title text notes that the last time this happened, the man fell in love with one of the angels, so it could be worse.
