Though you could apply something of style="border-right: ...; border-bottom: ..." to the cells of a straight 3x3 table (not using border-bottom for the third row, or border-right for the third cell in each row) without the ASCII-art aspect...
...Have a look in Help:Table#Border for inspiration? Though if there isn't a good old wikitemplate designed especially for this purpose (either usable or just source-copyable for direct use) I would be very surprised. 172.69.79.211 00:03, 30 August 2022 (UTC)

How about enforced fix-width plus non-collapsing whitespace?
