Does alpha numerical sorting make any sense here? Wouldn't it be better to just sort the black hat comics numerically?--Cybertronic (talk) 04:54, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

This is the default sorting mode for wikis. It's because the rest of the names are strings, so the numbers are treated likewise - it's a low priority issue though. We're more concerned with completing the explanation pages right now.Davidy22(talk) 04:59, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
It is "fixable" but extremely annoying to do so, so it is usually only done for small sets of fixed size, e.g. a multi-part series. The user doable "fix" is to specify the sort data when you add the category on a comic page. e.g. [[Category:Example|0123]]. Rather annoying to do on every categorized page everywhere... The admin doable fix likely requires some wiki-foo on the server (like the case sensitivity change). The "Comics" category page uses this same "pipe trick" method to make the comics appear to sort numerically, but it is done automagically by the "comic" template. --B. P.
