Color maps

• These two images is collected from images using different colored light and then saving image in the game.
  • This leaves the black (and here nothing was allowed to grow), and then only the light cones.
  • What is white background is not rendered white. So by viewing it in a viewer with black background the images as shown below appear with only the colors left, and they are much more vivid.
• The first image is made from one lamp moving in 8 steps from red to blue giving 9 different colors.
  • They are all clearly different, which is not so easily seen on all screens/browsers.
  • There may be a smooth transition, but trying to distinguish more than these nine colors becomes very difficult.
• The second image overlaps three different colors so there is an overlap in the center of three colors.
  • The top row only uses the three basic colors, i.e. the two at each side red, blue and the starting color of light yellow straight up. If there where only these three colors there would be only 6 ways to arrange them, and only a few distinct.
    • But if there are nine colors there are more than 500 ways to mix them, although again half of these would be mirror type.
  • The other six images mixes with some or all colors taken from the other six positions used in the first, and as per the above this is only a small mix of possible combinations.
