(I 'undid' your comment, but putting your comment back in again...: I keep typing "exit" instead of "edit" (even just then!) ...onscreen keyboards lack the haptic feedback... and hadn't corrected them all when first submitted.)
(Fixing my own typo. Yeah, it did look like it might be one of those things. Not sure how you'd stop it editing other people's comments in that scenario, procedurely, except to specifically suppress rules ran in a Talk: page. Could have replied, but won't!)

So I reverted it, to fix the deletions, but with the additional reinsertion of your signed-paragraph that was clearly your actual contribution. Hopefully that brings it back to where it would be without all the odd microedits it looks like you (or some auto-editing functionality?) had made. But letting you know. In a space a bit larger than the available "editing reason" field gives me. 172.70.86.117 00:38, 6 September 2024 (UTC)

:Oh, sorry, that must have been my setup of the "FoxReplace" extension doing that. I did not know that it would also act in these circumstances, I should report that. Good that this was not a conversation about Trump, otherwise it would have replaced every occurrence with "Drumpf". :D Fabian42 (talk) 07:24, 7 September 2024 (UTC)

I 'undid' your comment, but putting your comment back in again...[edit]

Looking at the actual changes for this edit, I see that you deleted the 'intro header comment', a number of commas (not all were actual Oxford Commas and I wouldn't edit others' Talk contributions for that anyway... though I do also dislike Oxford Commas myself) and a perfectly valid bit of quoted-code.

Oh, sorry, that must have been my setup of the "FoxReplace" extension doing that. I did not know that it would also act in these circumstances, I should report that. Good that this was not a conversation about Trump, otherwise it would have replaced every occurrence with "Drumpf". :D Fabian42 (talk) 07:24, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
