A news anchor, also known as news presenter, newsreader, newscaster (short for "news broadcaster"), anchorman or anchorwoman, or simply an anchor – is a person who presents news during a news program for instance on television.

On Wikipedia the used word is news presenter, but all the other points there. Randall has used the phrasing “news anchor” Randall directly in 1086: Eyelash Wish Log, news caster in 727: Trade Expert and just reporters in 1368: One Of The. But at the time of this category’s creation all comics with a news anchor has already been corrected to use that version, so thus this name has been chosen.

It lists all comics where a news anchor is either shown speaking on the news or if a news anchor is directly mentioned in the comic.
