Donald Knuth is a computer science Professor Emeritus at Stanford University. He is famous for writing the book The Art of Computer Programming and developing the TeX computerized typesetting system. He is also a known fan of xkcd and asked two questions at the Authors@Google talk that Randall gave in 2007.
